Lisa Fields is the CEO and founder of the Jude 3 Project, a leading apologetics organization dedicated to equipping the Black Christian community with the tools to know what they believe and why they believe it. As a renowned Christian apologist, speaker, author, and film producer, she has been a driving force in shaping conversations on faith, theology, and culture, using innovative content to engage diverse audiences and challenge them to think critically about their beliefs.

Under her leadership, the Jude 3 Project has become a trusted resource, producing Courageous Conversations, a groundbreaking conference featuring Black scholars from various theological perspectives, and developing two apologetics curricula designed to help churches engage deeply with their faith. She created the widely recognized YouTube series “Why I Don’t Go,” which explores why millennials and Gen Z disengage from the church. She led an HBCU tour addressing the question, “Is Christianity a White Man’s Religion?” The Jude 3 Project Podcast, which she hosts, has become a go-to platform for discussions on topics ranging from mental health to biblical history, offering accessible and thought-provoking conversations for believers navigating faith in a complex world.

Lisa is the author of When Faith Disappoints: The Gap Between What We Believe and What We Experience and the forthcoming When Heroes Fall, set to be released in Spring 2026.

Beyond her work in apologetics, Lisa has expanded into film production, co-producing the critically acclaimed documentaries Unspoken, which explores the Christian heritage of Africa and people of African descent, and Juneteenth: Faith & Freedom, a film produced in partnership with Our Daily Bread and now featured on PBS. Her contributions to Christian thought and apologetics have been widely recognized, including honors from Christianity Today for her work as a Christian apologist.
